In the competitive world of automobiles, German cars are said to be among the most valuable and luxurious automobile in the world. In the US, these German brands have been used as status symbols as they are owned by people who have at least made it in life, perhaps due to their high maintenance, quality, comfort and speed. They are generally said to be a reliable option for those that are seeking to maintain some sort of class or impression in the society.

In their list of luxurious cars, the German auto manufacturer Audi has been gaining a lot of popularity lately, with consumers attributing it to its elegance, quality and reliability. The model is in fact what is being used by senior state and government officials in most countries. In what seems now to be the trend, Audi has not been left behind in manufacturing a battery powered crossover that is schedule to debut in showrooms later during the year. The E-Tron was launched on Monday in San Francisco California during a big party .There are already fears that Tesla ,the producer of the first ever electric car, was on the verge on facing some tough competition from the giants in automotive luxury. Audi has boldly stated that they were now merging the world of electric mobility and will introduce 12 fully electric vehicles by 2025.

Tesla was the first manufacturer to design the first ever premium all electric car Model S Sedan, which has become the best car in its class in every category, according to the company. Tesla later expanded its product line with model X Crossover, which was declared the quickest, safest and most capable sport vehicle in history according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the US, who has also given it a 5 star rating on safety. The company has been holding its clean car reputation for a long time but it seems that they will now have to work harder to maintain their crown. German’s Mercedes –Benz and BMW unveiled their model concepts earlier this month, as they also fight to keep pace with their competitors. Electric cars will soon be replacing gasoline ones as the world seeks to stop relying on fossil fuels. Fossil fuels generate carbon emissions that greatly affect the environment. Apart from zero carbon emissions, electric cars are said to be better, quicker, efficient and more fun to ride.
