Dr. Onu said the expo has been specifically designed so innovators, inventors and researches could be brought together. The aim of the expo is to place the focus on the innovative capacity in the industrial laboratories, universities, research institutes, and especially the economy’s more informal sector.
According to the information provided by the minister, the expo theme of innovation, technology and science for the economic diversification of Nigeria was chosen because it showcased the centrality of both technology and science in industrialization.
