Ryan Seacrest Rockin Eve 2019

Ryan Seacrest knows that New York’s winter weather is unpredictable. The host of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is used to being drenched, but even for him, this New Year’s Eve brought too much rain! “I don’t know how anything will turn out when you’ve got this much rain,” Seacrest said as cold water dripped down his face.

Last year, it was just 9 degrees. While this Monday was milder, it brought an inch of rain! “I prefer the rain versus last year’s cold,” said Ryan. Despite the rain, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC saw the most viewers, with 9.1 million people tuning in! Once again, Seacrest brought ABC the best ratings on New Year’s Eve.

A few days before the big celebration, Ryan Seacrest and his co-host Jenny McCarthy opened up about their resolutions and plans to improve their relationships in 2019.

“My relationship resolution would be to get into just as good shape as my husband, Donnie Wahlberg,” Mccarthy said, and added, “Because he’s shredded right now. And I’m like, oh my God shredded.” “Oh, so frustrating,” Seacrest joked. “I know. I know, and I’ve got a little chub-chub here and there,” McCarthy said.

As for Ryan Seacrest, his goal is to make his girlfriend Shayna Taylor’s mornings even happier. “We get up very early. And she can make the most amazing, strong coffee,” he said. “And I struggle making it as potent. So, my resolution is to make the best potent coffee at 5:05 in the morning, every single day.”

The Best Moments From Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest

Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy rocked the freezing rain in Manhattan’s Times Square while co-hosting the 47th annual Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Seacrest joked about his end-of-year gig on Instagram by posting a caption “100% chance of rain, 0% chance of slowing us down.”

Jenny McCarthy wore a Barbie pink winter maxi coat with rhinestone trim over a black turtleneck. She managed to keep her blonde curls dry by shielding herself under a large umbrella. Ryan Seacrest, on the other hand, was soaked as he addressed the crowd onstage. Seacrest wore a black parka, matching skinny jeans and combat boots while asking the crowd to embrace the rain and drop the ball! As always, Seacrest posed for selfies with his patient fans, despite the bad weather.

The New Year kicked off with a series of unforgettable performances and a traditional countdown in the middle of Times Square. Among the evening’s headliners were Christina Aguilera, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Dan + Shay, and the New Kids on the Block featuring Jenny McCarthy’s second husband, Donnie Wahlberg.

Charlie Puth busted his keytar and showed off his skills with an epic solo while performing his hit song “How Long.” His New Year’s Eve was a great occasion to see all of the videos where he toys with his keyboard come to life! Another great moment of the night was the joke that Jenny McCarthy made after Dan + Shay’s performance. Once Shay Mooney and Dan Smyers were done with performing their 2018 hit “Tequila,” McCarthy said “I love Dan + Shay. Their music video for ‘Tequila’ makes me cry almost as much as real tequila.”

Ella Mai had one of the biggest breakouts during 2018. She performed her hit single “Boo’d Up” in a sassy silver puffy jacket that gave everyone serious outfit envy! New Kids on the Block returned for a performance that had the most amazing opening number. Despite the rain that came pouring down during their performance, the famous boy’s band sang their biggest hits upon the iconic red staircase.

Ciara was also a host during the night, but that didn’t stop her from performing! Once again, Ciara proved that she’s an amazing emcee while wearing a leather sports bra and fashionable workout pants. Christina Aguilera is another powerful singer that put on a performance during the New Year’s Eve. As she sang some of her biggest hits, such as “Genie in a Bottle,” “Fighter,” and “Ain’t No Other Man,” Christina proved that she doesn’t need autotune to deliver a magnificent vocal performance.

As the ball dropped at midnight, Post Malone kept the energy alive with hit single “Better Now.” During his performance, balloons fell over the crowd, making the general mood of the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve even more cheerful.

Finally, one of the best moments of the night was Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy’s amazing hosting. Anyone who was watching the broadcast or was among the crowd on Times Square saw how both co-hosts delivered enthusiastic reporting despite the bad weather. This made the Dick Clark special feel as warm and comfortable as it did nearly 50 years ago. This is why everyone will always want to tune in, no matter what year it is.

Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor Spend Christmas Together

Ryan Seacrest and his beautiful girlfriend, Shayna Taylor, spent Christmas together with his family in Nashville. Seacrest and the Wilhelmina model rekindled their romance in 2017, and they have been together ever since. “It’s been wonderful. We’re very in sync. Living together is easy,” Seacrest said in a recent interview. “Family is so important to me, and to Shayna as well, but I’ve always tried to put life into a master schedule with deadlines, and I don’t want to do that with Shayna. We both try to actually be in this moment, feel this connection, enjoy it and let it grow.”

But Nashville wasn’t the only location that Seacrest and Taylor visited during the holidays. The famous couple showed some PDA in the sun while spending time aboard on the luxurious mega yacht in the Caribbean sea. Paparazzi spotted the couple getting close during a journey to St Bart’s. The Live with Kelly and Ryan host wore a casual outfit as he kissed Taylor and enjoyed breakfast on the yacht.

The couple is famous for enjoying water sports together and this time was no different. Once again, Seacrest showed off his skills on a stand-up paddleboard, even though he tumbled into the sea at one point! The picturesque island and its turquoise waters were perfect for some freestyle swimming too.

Seacrest and Shayna have recently moved in together and started a brand new chapter in their lives. Another thing the couple is always on the same page about is food. Taylor, who is a trained personal chef and a food blogger, admitted that she thinks they have serious food chemistry. Shayna also runs a food website and Instagram account called Shayna’s Kitchen, where she shares her vegan and gluten-free cooking.

Ryan Seacrest Celebrates 44th Birthday at Children’s Hospital

It just so happens that Christmas Eve is also Ryan Seacrest’s birthday! This time, he celebrated his big day with a special episode on Live With Kelly and Ryan. Seacrest and his co-host Kelly Ripa dressed up for the occasion; they wore festive pajamas and got a visit from Santa who delivered video message from Ryan’s friends and family for his birthday.

Many people sent Seacrest love for his birthday, and that includes Ryan’s mom Connie, his sister Meredith, and the American Idol judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.

The episode was pre-taped as Ryan spent the day flying to Nashville for a surprise visit to a children’s hospital, where he handed out toys to the kids. “A bday well spent with my fam and the kids at @vumcchildren! Want to give a special shout-out to @DanAndShay for helping me with this surprise, and to @JAKKStoys who donated gifts for all the kids at our #SeacrestStudios across the country!” Seacrest tweeted.

Ryan met up with country duo Dan + Shay at Seacrest Studios at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. For those who don’t know, Seacrest Studios is the broadcast media center inside the hospital built by Ryan Seacrest’s non-profit organization, The Ryan Seacrest Foundation

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation was launched in 2010, and since then, it has grown into ten media centers across the country including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Children’s National Medical Center, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center Dallas, Boston Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado.

The Studios allow children to explore radio, TV and new media as tools to help them through their healing process and keep them cheerful and interested. The nonprofit organization has drawn many celebrities including Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Usher, Britney Spears and others.

During their trip to Nashville, Seacrest and Shayna reunited with his family, and his sister Meredith, who now resides in Nashville with her husband Jimmy Leach and has recently welcomed a baby girl, Flora. Six months ago, Seacrest posted a video of fireworks that he organized when he learned he is to become an uncle. The famous American Idol host posted a caption on that occasion, “Excited to have a niece! (I promise they’re pink…this is not a laurel/yanny, blue/white dress situation).”

Live with Kelly and Ryan hosted a few celebrity guests during their live Christmas episode. Grace VanderWaal and Ingrid Michaelson sang “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” in a winter wonderland in New York City. The singer and songwriters teamed up on the track for Michaelson’s holiday album, “Ingrid Michaelson’s Songs For The Season.” After the performance, Grace shared a photo of her with Ingrid and hosts Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa. Grace captioned the photo with hearts and their social handles.

Rita Ora also performed on Live with Kelly and Ryan with her latest single “Let Me Love You.” “About to go live!! Tune in to @LiveKellyRyan! I’m co-hosting with @KellyRipa and performing Let You Love Me! ” Rita tweeted.

The special episode of Live included a visit from Seth MacFarlane, and musical performances of country superstar Martina McBride and the Young People’s Chorus of New York City. Other celebrity guests included Mariah Carey, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Kerry Washington who shared their holiday memories with Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa.

Ryan Seacrest Continues to Give Back During Holiday Season

As he admitted, P.K. Subban is most proud of having figured out early in his career how to use his stardom for making people who are less fortunate happy. Once again, the Nashville Predators defenseman has allowed himself to steal the spotlight from most players during the NHL season. “It’s not about getting eyes on yourself,” Subban said in a phone interview. “It’s about getting eyes on the right things.”

Subban has recently released the video of his fifth annual Holiday Surprise in which he makes a surprise visit to a hospital for Christmas caroling. Ryan Seacrest, Lily Aldridge, Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon and a few predators, including Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi were his special guests.

Subban started his holiday surprise videos tradition in 2014 when he played in Montreal. Back then, he disguised himself as “Karl,” the security guard, who accompanied a group of young kids to the Canadiens’ training facility. Then in 2015, he transformed the atrium of Montreal Children’s Hospital into an amazing “Winter Wonderland” for sick children and their families.

In 2016, Subban decided to pick up a group of sick children at Vanderbilt Meharry Center for Sickle Cell Disease and gave them a horse and carriage ride around Nashville! The last stop was Bridgestone Arena, where Josi told them they could have anything they wanted from the store. At the end of the day, country star Dierks Bentley performed for the kids. Finally, in 2017, the famous defenseman stood disguised on the streets of Nashville, handing out gifts. He then surprised a few people with a four-course holiday meal by the famous chef Antonio Park. “Some kids and their families don’t feel the greatest around the holidays,” Subban said. “If you can make some kids feel a little bit better, then I think you are doing your part.”

But this wasn’t the only charity that Ryan Seacrest has supported this holiday season. A few weeks ago, iHeartRadio’s annual Jingle Ball came to Capital One Arena. The star-studded lineup included Meghan Trainor, G-Eazy, Shawn Mendes and The Chainsmokers. This holiday season, iHeartRadio partnered with brands and radio stations in specific cities. For example, in DC, it’s HOT 99.5. Also, $1 from each ticket sold went to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.

Among the emerging performers were Sabrina Carpenter, Bazzi, and NF. These talented artists had the chance to showcase their talents with more established artists. “If I wasn’t performing here, I’d still go to the concert,” said Carpenter, who is an ambassador for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and actress. “It’s surreal and the best feeling; I’m young and say how I feel, and the fact that people listen is the coolest thing in the world,” Sabrina said.
