There are many animals that are endangered on this planet. The bad news is that climate change is now starting to play a very large role in the populations of these animals getting smaller year after year. There are studies that show the federal government is not doing its part to protect endangered species in parts of the United States where climate change is an issue. One of the biggest areas of concern is Florida. The level of the sea is going to keep rising. This means that the animals who live in coastal areas are going to experience their habitat getting smaller all the time.

A big problem stems from the fact that many federal agencies that control the amount of money dispersed to protect endangered species do not see climate change as a major problem. Therefore, these animals that are in areas that are impacted by climate change are not getting the funding needed to adequately protect them. The same thing is happening all over the country. There are researchers and scientists who are saying that politicians need to realize the danger these animals are really in. There are some experts who believe that some of these animals might become extinct unless something is done quickly.

There has been some discussions about relocating some of these endangered animals to areas that are not going to be impacted by climate change. The problem with doing that is these animals are used to living in certain environmental conditions. Therefore, if you take them out of their natural habitat, they might not be able to thrive and survive. There are various agencies in the government that have indicated that climate change is a threat to a wide range of endangered species. However, these same agencies have not started to fund solutions to the problems that these animals are facing.

It remains to be seen if elected officials in the U.S. government will take the necessary steps and do what needs to be done to make sure that the endangered species populations are not threatened any more than they already are. Climate change is not a problem that is many years away. It is here right now and these animals are going to start feeling its impact sooner rather than later. There are a few politicians who have expressed concern about the climate change situation. We will have to see if their concern translates into dollars.
