Unless changes are made soon to slow down climate change, there could be entire species of animals that will go extinct.
Turtles were also part of the study. However, the life spans of these animals are some of the longest of any animal on Earth. Therefore, the impact that climate change will have on these animals will be much harder to determine. The scientists were all in agreement that the issues that governments around the world face pertaining to climate change have never been more dire than they are right now. Decisions need to be made in the next several years. Otherwise, animal populations could begin to see their numbers start to dwindle as a result of climate change.

It will take too long for politicians to act to put new laws into place. Therefore, it is up to conversationalists to take charge of the situation and start to make plans about how to save these animals before it is too late. There are a number of options that are available to these people. However, waiting on politicians to pass climate change laws could put the populations of these animals at serious risk.
