Dr. Samadi has a myriad of guests planned for his show, and they include specialists in the health and wellness industry and the medical field. They will be discussing many topics, such as how people can maintain their good health. They will also offer answers to various health questions. Specifically, the show will focus on issues of interest to men’s and women’s health, sexual health, prostate health, common diseases, diet and exercise.

The show is always broadcast live, so viewers have the ability to ask their questions via email or telephone while it is on the air or after it is over. The questions are all answered by a specialist in the medical field or by Dr. Samadi.

Dr. David Samadi has offered to feature any medical specialist on his show as a guest if they have created a health or medical product that has been peer-reviewed. Those who have written books on the subject of health or are experts in the health and wellness genre are also invited to participate.

About Dr. David Samadi

Dr. Samadi attended Stony Brook University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. He earned his M.D. at Stony Brook Medical School in 1994. He received postgraduate training in Urology at Montefiore Medical Center. In 1996, Dr. Samadi attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he received postgraduate training in proctology. In 2000, he received further postgraduate training in proctology at Montefiore Medical Center. He went on to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to complete his oncology fellowship in proctology, and in 2002, he traveled to France to attend Henri Mondor Hospital Creitel for a robotic prostatectomy fellowship.

Dr. Samadi started practicing medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. In 2007, he joined the faculty of Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. While there, the faculty appointed him as the Vice Chair of the Department of Urology. He also became the Chief of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Mt. Sinai.

In 2013, Dr. Samadi and his team moved on to Lenox Hill Hospital, and this includes everyone from the medical assistants, nurses, operating room team and other staff members. This is where he became Chief of Robotic Surgery and the Chair of Urology, and Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine appointed him as Professor of Urology.

Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique

Dr. Samadi developed a new prostate surgery that he calls “Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique” or SMART Prostate Surgery. This surgery is an improvement on the old surgery because patients do not lose nearly as much blood. The patient spends less time in the hospital and is not subject to the side effects that the other procedures cause. Most importantly, men do not experience as much pain, and the time it takes for them to recover from the surgery is shortened considerably.

The good news is that this robotic surgery offers patients better results than any of the other treatments. That is because this robotic surgery makes it possible for Dr. Samadi to remove malignancies in a more efficient manner than has ever been done before. This lessens the possibility that the surgeon could leave some of the diseased tissue behind. The technique also means it is highly unlikely that the surgeon would damage any of the healthy tissue within the prostate. Because of this, there is less scar tissue, and the patient recovers quickly.

Fox News Channel Television Appearances

Dr. Samadi stepped into a new role when he began to make appearances on television. In 2009, he became a Medical Consultant for Fox News Channel. That same year, he became a Fox News Contributor for the channel with the purpose of informing the public about the newest discoveries, technologies and research that are going on in the medical field today. In 2011, he naturally moved on to be a medical contributor for Fox News Health. His stated mission is to ensure that everyone knows about the deadly disease of prostate cancer.
