There’s no denying It. Trump lives in an altered state of reality. While the rest of the world experiences dramatic Earth changes, Trump’s fossil fuel worshiping world goes on as usual. Fossil fuels are still Trump’s trusted servants. Obviously, Mr. Trump has a vested interest in the fossil fuel industry, according to his critics.
Not a day goes by without another chunk of ice breaking away from Antarctica and adding more volume to sea levels around the world. And not a day goes by without a scientific report that verifies another species bites the dust due to the unprecedented changes they experience in their environment. Even the insect population feels the impact of climate change. According to scientists, all insects could be extinct by the end of the century.
The storms that circulate around the globe are bigger, stronger, and more destructive. And they happen more often. Summers are hotter and longer, and forest fires continue to damage the landscape in the West, as well as in other areas of the world.
All of those issues are a direct result of human-induced climate change, but the president of the United States denies humans play a role in these life-threatening events. The president is so sure climate change is fake news he hired a controversial climate change expert to verify his ignorance. According to Patrick Moore, a questionable climate change expert, climate change is fake news as well as fake science.
Trump likes to surround himself with controversial people. Mr. Moore claims all these Earth changes are a natural phenomenon and they pose no threat to humans. Moore thinks burning fossil fuel is healthy for the planet. Other scientists think Moore must be getting some reward from Trump. Moore, a former Greenpeace advocate turned climate change doubter, recently told Fox News there’s no climate change. It’s only the weather. Fox News is Trump’s personal news agency, according to the Washington Post.
Mr. Moore claims he is the co-founder of Greenpeace, but Greenpeace said Moore helped Greenpeace get started in Canada. Mr. Moore is a Canadian. Greenpeace said Moore likes to say he’s an environmental expert, or he’s an avid environmentalist in order to book speaking engagements. Greenpeace said Moore’s not the real deal.
But Trump believes him even though U.S. government scientist say climate is real, and it’s happening faster than they previously predicted. That news doesn’t matter to Mr. Trump. The Trumpster said he read part of the government report, but he doesn’t believe it.
